Independent Seminars revealed details of its first international seminar at the recent FDI World Dental Exhibition in Dubai.
The event, titled Sun, sea, sand and…seminars, will run over the 26-27 April 2008 and will feature a host of well-known speakers including Dr Larry Rosenthal, Dr Neil Counihan, Dr Komal Suri and Dr Ian Buckle.
There was a phenomenal response from local dentists to the new event, which will include hands-on sessions to satisfy the demand, while there will also be special rates for all attending delegates staying at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, where the event is being held.
Dr Larry Rosenthal will be starting the event with State of the art in aesthetic dentistry, a presentation of a variety of cases and the value of clear communication when illustrating aesthetic and restorative possibilities. Dr Neil Counihan will follow with his presentation Intergalactic dentistry, a technological future, about driving a clinical practice into a technological future.
Next will be Dr Komal Suri with Dynamics of smile design, a great opportunity to hear a fully comprehensive lecture on the art of smile design. Finally, Dr Ian Buckle will present The role of occlusion in aesthetic dentistry. By reference to several different cases, Dr Buckle will discuss when an occlusal alteration is necessary and what options are available.
To celebrate the launch of its first overseas event, Independent Seminars held a free prize draw to win a helicopter ride around Dubai. Over 300 dentists entered and the two lucky winners were: Dr Fariba Noory from the International Academy for Medicine in Dubai, and Dr Ahmed Al Shagran from the Dubai Smile Centre.
