Primary care centre to be built in Adamstown

As the development of Adamstown continues, it has been reported that the Health Service Executive (HSE) is planning a new primary care centre that will provide a range of services including dentistry. A non-HSE health provider will also be based at the centre to provide orthodontic and diagnostic services.
The centre will be part of Adamstown Central, the 1.2billion euro town centre that will cover 20 acres and is scheduled to be finished in 2010. The town centre is to be located next to the railway station and the schools, all of which opened last year.

Adamstown, situated in south-west Co. Dublin, is expected to have a population of 30,000 by 2015, equivalent in size to towns like Drogheda and Dundalk.
