‘Curry King’ tops bill at BDA conference

Glasgow’s ‘Curry King’ and inspirational entrepreneur Charan Gill MBE will be headlining the speakers’ list at this year’s BDA Conference.

The annual conference is being held in June at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow and the booking opens this Friday (5 January).

And Scotland’s very own shipyard worker-turned-multi-millionaire restaurateur will open the event.

The main clinical speaker will be clinician, educator, author and lecturer Dr Cherilyn Sheets who presents a day-long lecture on Friday 5 June 2009 looking at “Meeting the demands of today’s aesthetic restorative practice”.

BDA President Elect, John Drummond, said: ‘I am excited at the prospect of the 2009 British Dental Conference and Exhibition in Glasgow. The theme of the conference – Transforming dentistry – will address matters at the very heart of the modern dental world.

‘There truly is something at this event for every member of the dental team, so it’s the one date in 2009 you must not miss!’

The programme promises clinical sessions, workshops and special interest group meetings, plus a chance to gain all CPD points and the trade exhibition is a chance to discuss new products and ensure you are aware of what’s available in the marketplace.

The BDA Conference and Exhibition is on Thursday 4, Friday 5 and Saturday 6 June 2009. For further information, visit the website at www.bda.org/events/annual-conference.
