Life’s a beach at Showcase

Bringing a little sunshine into November will be the aim for the British Dental Trade Association at this year’s Showcase.

The event has become well known for its award-winning advertising campaigns and themed activities linked to the exhibition, and once again the BDTA has spent substantial time and resources to enhancing Showcase 2009 for the benefit of visitors and exhibitors. The eye-catching theme for this year’s event will be ‘Treasures of Dentistry’.

Members of the dental team will be able to discover their own dental treasure at the exhibition and, with the event taking place in November – a little later in the calendar than recent years – warm sun, cloud-free skies, white sand and sea imagery will help brighten up a usually dull November.

Tony Reed, executive director at the BDTA, said: ‘We want to create a warm welcome for visitors at this year’s Showcase and bring a little sunshine into November.

‘Within the advertising campaign we have adopted a twist on the treasure theme, replacing a standard treasure chest with examples of some of the dental treasures to be uncovered at Showcase.

‘We hope as many exhibitors as possible will adopt the theme within their marketing efforts as possible and that visitors will enjoy the treasure themed activities.’
