Dentist’s ad calls for Clinton as president

A dentist has taken out a TV advert calling on Hilary Clinton for president.

Chicago dentist William DeJean has started the 2012 ad race with a spot that supports secretary of state Hillary Clinton for president.

According to news channel CNN, the $5,000 ad began running on television in New Orleans this week and it will soon run in other states.

Asked why he paid for the ad, DeJean reportedly told CNN: ‘I don’t think this country is headed in the right direction… I think she is the most qualified.’

The advert, a 30-second spot, tells viewers that Clinton ‘has more experience working in and with The White House than most living presidents… She is one of the most admired women in our nation’s history… Let’s make sure the president we should have elected in 2008 will be on the ballot in 2012.’

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has dismissed any talk of another presidential bid, saying repeatedly in interviews that she will not run again.
