Gap teeth is the new fashion flaw

A gap between the two front teeth is the latest must-have for models.

According to The Wall Street Journal ‘one of the most coveted attributes’ for models at New York fashion week was gap teeth.

Model Lara Stone – who is the face of Calvin Klein – leads the way in this field.

And her diastema – the dentistry term for a space between two teeth – hasn’t held her back.

She’s notched up millions of dollars and was rated one of the highest paid supermodels of 2009 by Forbes, collators of the ‘world’s richest’ lists.

Also gracing the runways were models bearing tattoos and piercings – fashion is bored with perfection it seems.
