New NHS dental practice opens in its doors

A new state-of-the-art dental practice in the Canada Water area has opened for NHS patients.

NHS Southwark has commissioned the new service, Canada Water Dental Health, to meet the local need for another NHS dental practice in the area.

The practice is located on Surrey Quays Road, directly adjacent to the Canada Water tube station and local bus terminus.

It offers a full range of dental treatments at hours to suit the needs of the community.

In addition, the practice accepts NHS specialist oral surgery referrals from other dentists around the borough.

Mr Nitin Nagpaul, senior dentist at the practice, said: ‘Things have been going really well since we opened. We have spent the last few months installing equipment and making sure our staff are fully trained to help patients.

‘We have started to take appointments. Patients have been really positive, telling us that they’re pleased that they now have a practice more local to them. Our opening hours mean that people can come before or after work and even on Saturdays.

‘In addition to full disabled access, we have an indoor and outdoor children’s play area so it’s a great place for all the family!’

Canada Water Dental Health is open for appointments from 8.30am-6.00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. It is open late from 8.30am-8.00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from 10am-2.00pm on Saturdays.
