Comedian Tom Stade to host Dentistry Awards

It has just been revealed that leading stand-up comedian Tom Stade is to host the 2010 Dentistry Awards.

As seen on BBC1’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and BBC2’s Mock The Week, he’s Stade by name but his comedy is something entirely different.

With the ceremony just three weeks away, congratulations to all those dentists, practices, teams and websites that were shortlisted – now there is just a short but tantalising wait to find out who is the winner of each category.

The event will take place on Friday 10 December at the Athena in Leicester, starting with a drinks reception before moving on to a three-course dinner and then the awards ceremony itself.

The stage will then be turned into a dance floor to round the evening off in style.

The Athena, designed in 1936 by Robert Arthur Bullivant is one of the largest, most extravagant
buildings within the region. Recently restored to its former Art Deco glory, it’s the perfect venue for such an annual celebration as the Dentistry Awards.

If you or your team are on the shortlist and haven’t yet booked your tickets, make sure you do so quickly. Even if you have not been shortlisted, you could still make this dazzling night of entertainment your practice’s Christmas party.

For table bookings, call the Dentistry Awards team on 01923 851742.
