Generosity of a smile

A dentist gave a bride-to-be the smile of her dreams for free when she broke down in tears at the cost of the treatment.

Dr James Kleiber, of Glenholme Dental Practice in Basingstoke, Hampshire, kindly gave his patient – Mrs C – a free smile makeover to correct her crooked teeth and give her the confidence she was looking for on the day she tied the knot.

Mrs C turned up at Dr Kleiber’s surgery, complaining of the general appearance of her teeth, especially her upper incisors.

She was getting married just over a month from the initial consultation, and wanted something done in time for her wedding if possible.

But, having discussed the fees involved, Mrs C found she was unable to go ahead for financial reasons.

And when Mrs C broke down in tears, distraught at not being able to have the work done, the practice took pity and offered to carry out the work free of charge!

Mrs C had her veneers fitted in time for her wedding – and a further check was performed once she had returned from her honeymoon.

She has since returned regularly for routine check ups and hygiene visits.
