The BDA is publishing a series of blogs considering the likely themes of the report and the issues they raise.
This is ahead of the expected publication of the Office of Fair Trading’s report of its inquiry into the UK dental market later this month.
The terms of reference for the report, which were published in September 2011, outlined a broad remit across both NHS and private practice.

The series begins this week with the thoughts of executive board chair, Dr Susie Sanderson, on the issue of pricing and its clarity for patients.
