BoD announces Practice Managers’ Conference in Edinburgh

Following the huge success of their initial Practice Managers' Conference, which was held in Northamptonshire in June, the Business of Dentistry (BoD) has announced that it will host another conference in Edinburgh to satisfy the overwhelming demand from dental practices in Scotland and the North of England.

The Conference will be held at the King James Hotel, based in the heart of the city, on 9 November and will once again be hosted by leading dental consultant, Sheila Scott.

As previously, the whole-day conference will feature a full programme of leading industry speakers, who will be covering a wide range of relevant topics and issues that will help practice managers to improve the performance and profitability of the practice.

BoD managing director, Nick Dilworth, said: '‘Practice managers play a vital role in the business of dentistry. This Practice Managers’ Conference is a fantastic opportunity to discuss the challenges managers are faced with and focus on the opportunities available. We are offering an impressive line-up, to introduce some innovative ideas which will help boost business for dental practices, especially during these hard times.'

Business manager, Andrew Lavelle, attended the conference in June and said: 'Practice managers sometimes feel isolated in their role, so this event was a great networking opportunity, where managers got to hear about what others are facing, shared similar challenges and discussed ways to overcome them.’
