Fresh back from presenting two nutrition reports at Europerio 7 in Vienna, Juliette Reeves of Perio-Nutrition is presenting a full day Master Class for Dental Hygienists on Saturday 20 October 2012 at Barnsdale Lodge in Rutland, Leicestershire.
The focus of this study day is an introduction to clinical nutrition for the dental team to enable the introduction of nutritional management of periodontal disease into everyday practice.
The course will cover some basic nutrition principals before going on to look at the nutritional biochemistry relevant to chronic inflammation and the periodontal tissues. Finally the practical application of the information studied will be demonstrated and participants will have the opportunity to experience a case history for themselves.
This workshop includes some of the latest research from EP7 and will cover dietary habits that affect chronic inflammation.
