Martin Bayfield guest speaker at Dentistry Awards

As the Dentistry Awards 2012 judging day lies just on the horizon, entrants wait eagerly and judges prepare for some tough decision making as the quality of entries is yet again, outstanding.

The Dentistry Awards will be a night to remember and plans are in place to ensure the ceremony will be a glittering success, the candles will be glowing and the champagne will be flowing as guests arrive in their hundreds to celebrate dental excellence across the whole of the UK.

The ceremony is less than four months away and this year's special guests speaker is hunk of a sportsman, actor, journalist and popular sports personality, Martin Bayfield.

Martin Bayfield led a successful and prominent career as a professional rugby player for several years, gaining 31 England caps until a serious neck injury prevented him from continuing with the sport, he retired in 1998.

Since then, Martin has remained in the spotlight presenting World’s Strongest Man and is a regular commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live.

In addition, he has played Robbie Coltrane’s body double for the past 10 years as the cuddly half-giant ‘Hagrid’ in the famous magical stories of Harry Potter.

Martin has appeared as an after dinner speaker on many occasions and is loved for his witty stories and humorous anecdotes.

The Dentistry Awards recognise dental excellence across the UK and are an appreciation of the dental profession. Enjoy the work you do, the patients you help, the team you work with and most importantly celebrate your industry’s success.
