At the Plandent stand, Roland Schmidt, UK CEO, introduced the company under its new, streamlined branding. The well-known brand Claudius Ash has gone, it is now trading under the Plandent name and J&S Davis has been bought out by Daniel Davis.
This means a clearer look for the company and a more dynamic approach under the younger, fresher Plandent brand with a reputation for innovation.
Roland expained how Planmeca, the parent company, is the largest privately owned dental manufacturer in the world, and ‘we are a part of that’.
The aim of the company is to work closer with dentists, creating long-term relationships, with the backing of a powerful parent company.
So what’s new? Head over to the Plandent stand to see the full product range incuding the flagship dental chair, the Sovereign. According to Roland, this is the top selling chair on the continent.
You wont be able to miss it, it’s bright pink and one of the team on the stand will glady demonstrate the ambidextrous set up.
Also on offer is Plan-O, the Plan Order Inventory Management System. This has been selling well across Scandinavia, with a recent install in Plymouth.
