Dentsply announce three winners of Cavitron competition at BDTA Dental Showcase
The chance to win a Cavitron Jet Plus was the talk of this year’s BDTA Dental Showcase. Dentsply’s stand was inundated with clinicians entering the competition in the hope of bringing one of the industry’s leading ultrasonic scaling units to their practice.
All that hygienists had to do to be in with a chance of winning was to get their dentist to air polish a two-pence piece using the Cavitron Jet Plus as quickly as possible. The daily winners of the units were the following:
• Thursday – Gilbert Lysaght, Lysaght Dental, County Cork
• Friday – Sonal Patel, The Terrace Dental Centre, Newmarket
• Saturday – Jatin Patel, Kingsend Dental Health Centre, Ruislip
The competition gave clinicians the chance to learn more about the Cavitron Jet Plus and discover some of its innovative features. Such as it’s new Tap-On Technology, which requires only one tap to activate it and one to deactivate. Allowing clinicians to rest their foot throughout treatment, decreasing the chances of foot and leg fatigue.
