The outstanding contricution in dental nursing award 2013 has been won by Joan Hatchard.

Presented by outgoing BADN president – Nichola Docherty – at the national dental nursing conference at the NEC in Birmingham, Nichola said: 'It is a great pleasure to give this award to someone like Joan who has done so much for dental nursing over many years’.  Joan said: ‘I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news. I am so thrilled. The Conference is always an exciting event, and to be part of it in such a way, was the best moment of my career’.
