A packed morning and afternoon of presentations spanning five different themes, a dedicated CV clinic, and a presentation by the chair of NHS England will be just some of the highlights of the BDA/UCL Eastman Dental Institute careers day, as revealed in programme this week.
Taking place at the University of London’s Senate House on Friday 7 February 2014, the event will offer foundation and newly qualified dentists information, inspiration and insight. Presentations will include:
• Future of the NHS – by the chair of NHS England, Sir Malcolm Grant
• Panel debate – with chief dental Officer for England, Barry Cockcroft; the chair of the BDA’s principal executive committee Martin Fallowfield, the BDA’s chief executive, Peter Ward, and Stephen Porter, professor of oral medicine and director of the UCL Eastman Dental Institute
• Top tips for a winning CV – with Alison Miles-Jenkins from Training to Achieve Enterprises.
There is much much more. Delegate fees start from £52 for dental students and are also significantly reduced for foundation dentists.
