Ahead of September’s 8th International Orthodontic Conference (IOC) in Lindon, organiser the WFO is hosting a one-day pre-congress course entitled, ‘Contemporary Treatment for Missing Teeth in Growing Patients Autotransplantation – The Natural Choice’.
The course takes place on Saturday, 26 September 2015 at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. The course will be run by Dr Eva Czochrowska and Dr Paweł Plakwicz who both have extensive training and experience in autogenous tooth transplantation and will present material describing the procedure.
This technique can be a treatment consideration in circumstances when there are missing or lost incisors and unevenly distributed agenesis. The importance of proper diagnosis, case selection, advantages and disadvantages and potential complications will be described. Successfully treated cases will be presented.
The information presented at this educational activity should improve your ability to:
- Assess and describe the advantages and application of autotransplantation
- Recognise and identify the limitations of the procedure
- Describe and explain the techniques used in autotransplantation
- Examine how this procedure can be introduced into your practice and patient care
The IOC takes place at the ExCeL centre in London’s Docklands from 27-30 September. More information at http://wfo2015london.org
