GSK’s post-graduate lecture series, Talking Points in Dentistry, is celebrating it’s 30th year of educating dental professionals and it’s inviting all members of the dental team to join this year’s series of lectures, commencing in May across the UK. Tickets can be reserved now by visiting the website.
This year in celebration of the 30-year heritage of the programme, GSK asks: ‘who will be the patient in 2045 and what will they want?’ The lectures will reflect on the changes that have occurred in the dental industry over the last 30 years and how delivery of dental care will continue to evolve in the future. The evening will also consider the role of the changing digital environment and its impact on patient expectations and knowledge.
Thought provoking content
Over the last 30 years more than 60 industry experts and professionals have delivered lectures to thousands of delegates covering topics such as orthodontics, practice management, four-handed dentistry, forensic dentistry, tooth wear and team working.
Many things have evolved during that time, including the move from glass lecture slides to digital presentations – but the core focus has remained to provide topical and thought provoking content. The lecture series will visit five venues across the UK during May:
- 12 May 15 – Titanic Belfast
- 14 May 15 – Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh
- 18 May 15 – National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull
- 20 May 15 – National Museum, Cardiff
- 27 May 15 – Royal Institute, London.
