Practice Management Conference – speaker line-up announced

Practice Management Conference
Practice Plan has announced who will be speaking at its Practice Management Conference

The Practice Management Conferences, delivered by Business of Dentistry Events, return this year with a formidable array of expert dental speakers.

Taking place on Friday 5 June in Reading and Friday 19 June in Manchester, speakers and delegates will come together for a full-day event that is informative, entertaining and dedicated solely to supporting and developing the skills of practice management teams.

The impressive speaker line-up features some of the dental industry’s most forward-thinking and innovative speakers, including Chris Barrow, Jane Lelean, Simon Tucker, Pat Langley and Sally Toon. With topics on the day ranging from marketing through to patient communication and compliance, there really is something for everyone.

Topics

Leading business consultant Simon Tucker will be hosting the event as well as delivering his session on Effective patient communication. Simon’s session will focus on helping delegates to build a bespoke and effective ‘sales’ process that everyone in the dental practice can use, helping the team to think differently about sales and feel at ease about discussing money with patients. Simon strongly believes that selling really is just a good conversation, which can lead to a greater understanding of patients’ wants and needs and ultimately how you can help them.

Marketing guru and founder of 7connections, Chris Barrow joins the line-up with his thought-provoking session on The future of marketing a dental practice. In his session, Chris will focus on the latest innovations in practice marketing to help delegates drive new patients to their door and keep them. To whet your appetite, here’s just one of the top tips that delegates can expect to take away from his session: ‘It’s all about emails and permission – by collecting email addresses and permission, you can establish a long-term relationship with a prospective patient, sometimes for months or years before they actually pick up the phone to book an appointment. This ability to nurture a relationship with a potential patient is priceless!’

Award-winning business coach and trainer, Jane Lelean will be drawing on years of experience as a former dentist and practice owner with her session on The anatomy of the successful practice. In this session, Jane will focus on the key elements needed to create a profitable, GREAT practice. According to Jane: ‘Once you know your values, every decision is easy’. Practice management teams often don’t have the time to reflect and consider answers to important questions that can often be answered in haste with the consequences suffered at a later date. Jane’s session will certainly give you plenty of food for thought and practical advice that you can implement in your practice immediately.

Co-founder and chief executive of Apolline, Pat Langley, and head of compliance, Sally Toon, complete the line-up with their timely session on Regulation – what you need to know. This informative session will look at the Care Quality Commission’s new fundamental standards and the key things you need to know in order to survive and prosper. You’ll come away with a better understanding of what you need to do to make compliance easier for you and your practice.

A must-attend

With such a fantastic line-up of speakers, these conferences are a must-attend for any member of the practice management team looking to take their practice to the next level.
