Thinking about loved ones enough to put a smile on women’s faces

Smile
Around one in three women say thinking about loved ones makes them smile the most

One in three men find a funny joke is enough to put a smile on their face, a similar percentage of women say thinking about loved ones makes them smile the most.

New research has been carried out by the British Dental Health Foundation and Invisalign to mark the start of National Smile Month, which takes place from the 18 May – 18 June.

The survey shows that 54% of us feel that as we get older we tend to smile less, with 43% saying that this is because they are in a bad mood.

It also reveals that 77% of us notice women smiling more than men.

Twenty six per cent of respondents said they smile one-five times a day and 20% said they smile up to five-10 times a day.
