Henry Schein has launched an english language version of its e-learning platform ConnectDental Campus.
Containing on-demand webinars, live webinars and tutorial videos for digital workflows in practices and laboratories, the website was launched in German during autumn 2015. The versatile learning content is easily accessible from any location at any time.
From April 2016 on, this platform will also be available in English. Interested parties can register at www.connectdentalcampus.co.uk or use the Henry Schein Dental UK e-learning platform www.hseducation.co.uk/campus
The platform provides high-quality, evidence-based content that is equally interesting to dental practices and dental laboratories. In the webinars, experienced speakers and experts from the field of dentists and laboratory owners pass on very useful insights. The current courses include topics related to the clinical aspects of digital implant workflows, intelligent and open process and data management for modern dental laboratories, modern CAD/CAM techniques, as well as lectures on new materials and equipment.
By providing online training, Henry Schein addresses the increasing digitisation within dentistry. ‘The ConnectDental Campus e-learning platform is a perfect complement to our existing face-to-face seminars on all digital dental technologies. In collaboration with many of our industry partners and experienced speakers, we provide practical and user-focused content interactively and quickly,’ said Patrick Thurm, vice president technology, global prosthetic solutions at Henry Schein. ‘We know that the need for information and further training is in high demand, especially in the field of digital technologies, and now we are able to offer an additional advanced training and information programme via the ConnectDental Campus. Everyone can select precisely the topics that are important to him or her from the comfort of the office or home.’
Regardless of the particular focus of the parties concerned, participants in the ConnectDental Campus receive individualised access information and expand their basic or detailed expertise in the individual webinars. The webinar and tutorial video offer in the ConnectDental Campus is constantly being expanded. Already in the first weeks after the launch of the German-language training platform, nine webinars were provided and currently more than 1,800 participants have been registered.
