Precision no incision

DSC00552Implantpilot, an innovative and less invasive way to increase the accuracy of implant placements.

What if you didn’t need to raise a flap even for ridge augmentation?

Would your patients thank you?

Implantpilot is a revolutionary new system developed to increase the accuracy of implant placement whilst being less invasive and thus reducing discomfort for your patient. The patented system guides the implant hand piece, eliminating the many disadvantages of a tube guide. Irrigation is also possible enabling the use of bone compacting burs.

The guide is 3D printed cobalt chrome. Embracing digital technology and a straight edged fiducial marker (Lego) to merge the patient CT scan and scans of the model, the possibility of accurate immediate loading of implants is opened up. Access to the osteotomy can be flapless minimising tissue damage and post operative discomfort for the patient.

Why choose Implantpilot over other digital guided systems on the market?

Accuracy! Dicom and STL files use a straight line axis to record and represent data. A fiducial marker with straight edges merges the two together with greater accuracy than a round marker. The open design allows irrigation so Densah burs can be utilised.

The stent and handpiece design allows the depth and angle of placement to be accurate, safe and flapless

Extensive training options and support is available.

It can be used with any implant system.

What are the costs?

Implantpilot is able to offer a launchpad fixed cost trial for you to try out the system without the need for a capital investment. This can even be incorporated into the cost of a training day.

The cost of set up moving forward is substantially less than competitive systems and what’s more, it can be used with most implant systems.

Don’t just take our word for it

‘I have used a number of Implant guided systems over the years. The most impressive feature of Implantpilot is not the inherent technology but the patient motivation to buy into a system that is quick, accurate, less painful and involves no flap raising and suturing. Factors that most dentists new to implant dentistry struggle with.’ – Keith Webster FDS FRCS consultant maxillofacial surgeon.

From a patient’s perspective:

‘I was initially concerned about an implant as it would pass very close to an impacted tooth root. Many years ago a local anaesthetic injection into this root was not a good experience, and was the reason for my concern. I need not have worried as my dentist took me through the process in detail and as I have experience with the use of CAD/CAM in engineering, it made perfect sense. Planning the actual implant location with such precision, and importantly placing it there was very impressive. The placement was enabled by fabricating a precise drill jig made from cobalt chrome using 3D printing technology. This “clipped” onto my existing teeth perfectly. The entire implant process was completely pain free, and I could not be happier with the result.’ – Rob Lightfoot, engineer.
