The British Society of Paediatric Dentistry (BSPD) is inviting dental nurses, hygienists and therapists working with children to submit abstracts for its annual national conference.
To achieve recognition for their work, dental nurses, hygienists and therapists who work with children should submit an abstract for a poster prize (value £250) by 31 March.
The poster, which can present a research project, clinical governance project or clinical case study, will be displayed at the BSPD annual national conference, this year in Manchester.
Sondos Albadri, editor of the International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry (IJPD), and chair of the conference abstracts and prizes committee, commented: ‘Every year we get excellent entries which shine a light on some of the excellent work undertaken by dental team members in support of children’s oral health. I am looking forward to some more great entries this year.’
Selected submissions will be published in the IJPD conference supplement. Entrants must be a BSPD member to enter but can join BSPD when they make their submission.
