I could either take action or I could hang back and hope for a miracle. Miracles are great, but they are so unpredictable! A high-income job was costing me my life.
I took action. I did whatever it took to get my life back. I maximised my practice’s profitability and sustainability by dramatically reducing my overheads and being a part of a positive, life affirming community going in a healthy direction. Surviving in dentistry requires so much more than just expertise in dental procedures.
I regularly speak with fellow colleagues, and it’s shocking to hear that so many dentists and practice owners face the same fears and yet, do not have a set plan to navigate through these troubled waters.
As dentists and practice owners, we’re facing a period of uncertainty, change and transformation. The only certainty we have is that there will always be change. This is a new era.
