The office kit includes Opaldam Green – an easy-to-use, light-cured resin barrier, ideal for protecting the gingiva. After this is cured, the 6% hydrogen peroxide gel can be applied using the convenient delivery tips. For your ease, the gel is purple in colour; assisting with proper placement, and ensuring complete removal.
As an added benefit, the gel is also chemically activated; meaning no expensive equipment or light is required to complete the treatment. Impressive whitening results can be achieved in as little as 20 minutes, which can then be combined with optional take-home whitening treatments.
2. Ready-to-go whitening
Many patients may be interested in whitening, but find the impression process off-putting. Opalescence Go take home whitening provides the perfect solution. The unique whitening system comes with pre-filled disposable trays, eliminating the need for impressions or lengthy wait time. The adaptable tray design conforms to any patient’s individual smile, making whitening possible even during orthodontic treatment.
Simple and fast, Opalescence Go only needs to be worn for 60-90 minutes a day, for five-10 days, before impressive whitening results are achieved. Containing 6% hydrogen peroxide, the gel has a delicious mint flavour; leaving the patient with both a pleasant aftertaste and a bright white smile.
3. Take home whitening
Opalescence PF take home whitening is a gel that is delivered via custom trays. It is the first and only patented, sticky, viscous gel, with an optimum combination of potassium nitrate and fluoride. The unique viscous formulation ensures the gel won’t migrate, as the sticky gel holds the comfortable tray securely in place. The addition of potassium nitrate and fluoride, helps to maintain the health of the enamel throughout the whitening process.
