The recruitment for a new registrant member of the Council has now closed.
The Appointments Commission received a total of 121 applications; 81 from dentists and 40 from dental care professionals.
Interviews will be held in mid-January 2012, with a view to appointing the new member in advance of the 23 February Council meeting.
The selection panel will include Appointments Commissioner Margaret Scott (panel Chair), Kevin O’Brien (Council Chair) and an Independent Assessor from the Office of the Commissioner of Public Appointments.
