Dental nurse needed for an Orthodontic practice in Thame

Start date: April 2018

Successful applicant will also work across the sister practice which is close by


Monday – Friday 8:15am – 5:30pm (no weekend, no late nights)


4 paid weeks/year + bank holidays

Very busy, NHS/Private mixed Practice in the heart of Oxford


Mostly, hands on. Will include a formal induction to the organisation and practice. Also a brief period of shadowing experienced nurse. Ongoing training on a regular basis within the Team as well as personal training portfolio which is completed on a regular basis.

YEAR 1
◊ Induction into the organisation and location specific training
◊ Learning and developing their chair side Orthodontic Nursing skills
◊ X-ray course
◊ Support for enrolment into the Orthodontic Nursing course in year 2

YEAR 2
◊ Undertaking the Orthodontic Nursing Course
◊ Further develop your Orthodontic Nursing skills.
◊ Support for enrolment into the Orthodontic Therapist course year 3

YEAR 3
◊ Undertaking the Orthodontic Therapist Course

£19k - £21k but will vary dependent on experience
