This Independent mixed practice is looking to recruit for a Practice Lead, for a 9 month maternity cover.
This role is to assist the current practice manager to ensure the practice runs efficiently and effectively throughout the day.
Responsibilities will vary from:
General administration /filing & maintain filing system
Maintaining a series of monthly tasks including audits, risk assessments, logs and other relative tasks.
Take line management responsibility for dental receptionists and dental nurses any temp staff including responsibility for motivation, training, objective setting and appraisal reviews, monitoring & logging holiday and other related duties
Assist in coordinating arrangements for appraisal, organising, attending and participating in practice meetings
Assist in the responsibility of supervising all banking procedures, including deposits, payments and checking bank statements as well as invoicing out to sub-letters
Supervise NHS payment claims and receipts, checking monthly schedules
Monitor patient payments and the collection of outstanding debts
Assist in dealing with general patient queries/ complaints
Liaise with sales and suppliers’ representatives as necessary
Ensure that there is efficient stock control and supply procedures, ensure that practice equipment is serviced and maintained
Monitor practice compliance with Health and Safety requirements
This role would suit candidates that are looking to step up from reception duties or someone that is looking for a new dynamic opportunity as an assistant manager.
Candidates must have NHS, dental experience.
Salary depends on experience and will be discussed at interview.
