Glasgow dental school best in the UK

The Times Online Good University Guide 2010, the definitive guide to choosing a university, has ranked the University of Glasgow Dental School as the number one dental school in the UK.
Universities were ranked according to eight key performance areas:
• Student satisfaction
• Research quality
• Entry standards
• Student-staff patios
• Services & Facilities Spend
• Completion
• Good Honours
• Graduate Prospects
The information regarding research quality was sourced from the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, a peer review exercise to evaluate the quality of research in UK higher education institutions undertaken by the UK higher education funding bodies.
The list was as follows:
1 Glasgow

3 Manchester
4 Sheffield
5 Leeds
6 Cardiff
7 Queen's Belfast
8 Bristol 3
9 King's College London
10 Liverpool
11 Dundee
12 Birmingham
