£75,000 up for grabs for dental researchers

The British Orthodontic Society Foundation has £75,000 this year to offer support UK dental researchers. The areas we are keen to support are:

Ares that the foundation is keen to support include:
• Projects that will impact on clinical orthodontics.
• Projects that include the career development of a named researcher.
• Projects that develop undergraduate teaching in orthodontics.

The British Orthodontic Society website says: ‘UK researchers are a small and elite band; we want to encourage new researchers to join them and help continue to produce world-class research. Many of us were inspired as an undergraduate. We want to keep this alive and lively!'

Applications must be received electronically by noon on 15 January 2010.
