Implants manintenace course for hygienists
16th Jun 2010Andy Denny of Twenty 2 Dental is hosting a full day of interactive dental education for dental practitioners and dental hygienists on Thursday 16 September at the Aztec West Hotel in Bristol.
This course, sponsored by Biohorizons and focusing on the essentials of implant care and maintenance for hygienists and general practitioners, will provide six hours of verifiable CPD
(certificated).
The course is targeted towards hygienists involved in-patient after care with dental implants and dentists who provide general dental care for patients who have had implants.
The full day interactive course which will take the form of lectures, videos, demonstrations and hands-on sessions will include the principles of implant dentistry, an update on periodontal disease, on providing hygiene care for the implant patient.
All of those booked by 31 July will receive £50 off the first delegate price and £25 off delegates from the same practice. Full cost is £295 for the first delegate, with £195 for additional delegates from the same practice.

Andy works in private general practice and receives referrals for aesthetic and implant dentistry.
He provides both surgical and restorative aspects of implant care including augmentation,
grafting and immediate loading cases.
He gives talks both locally and nationally and runs courses and mentoring for the implant team. Andy is a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, the International Team for
Implantology and the Association of Dental Implantology.
