A dental surgery in Surrey has just opened a new children's dental therapy department.

Portmore Dental Office in Weybridge, Surrey, has installed dental therapist, Lois Shepherd,  who will work with children to provide ‘pain-free dentistry in a calm environment'.

A spokesperson says: ‘Lois will make sure every child that walks through her door will relax and experience dentistry without the stress.

‘Her calm demeanour ensures all children she treats will not fear the dentist ever again!'

Lois is experienced in treating children using all the latest techniques providing prevention and treatment of tooth decay.

She will also be providing the following treatments for children of all ages:
• Fissure sealants
• Oral hygiene advice
• Scaling and polishing
• Fluoride treatments

To give children the full benefit of healthy teeth, the practice recommends joining Portmore Dental Plan for Kids.

This plan costs only £3.99 per month and gives your child the following benefits:
• Free dental check-up every six months by one of the dentists at Portmore
• Free X-rays when necessary
• Free oral hygiene advice and treatment
• 15% off all fillings
• Free worldwide dental emergency insurance

For further information, call Portmore on 01932 855011 or visit www.portmoredental.co.uk.
