The London Dental Fellowship has announced the following charitable donations from its members, which were agreed at its last AGM in the summer of 2010:

• £2,000 will be donated to Smile Train, an international charity that provides treatment for children with cleft lip and cleft palate
• £2,000 will also be donated to Bridge2Aid, which provides primary dental care and education in Tanzania.

The Fellowship would like to thank its members for all their generous donations, which will go towards helping two very worthy causes.

The London Dental Fellowship is an invitational study club and fellowship of dentists that has been in existence for over 40 years.

The members meet six times a year to enjoy lectures from eminent speakers on a range of dentally related topics along with an evening meal to allow for social interaction and continued professional development.

Membership is limited to 50 (with additional senior membership after retirement) and all members must attend at least four out of six meetings to retain membership.

Meetings are held at the same venue in central London.
