Dental commissioning statistics update

The following statistics were released today by the Department of Health regarding dental commissioning for the quarter ending September 2011.

This data shows the number of Units of Dental Activity (UDAs) commissioned as at 30 September 2011.

Key findings this quarter:

• All 151 Commissioners (PCTs and Care Trusts) returned data
• 89.2 million UDAs have been commissioned as at 30 September 2011

This represents an increase of 214,000 (0.24%) on the UDAs commissioned as at 30 June 2011.

eureka-the answer to all the uk's dental problems. I'm certainly going to give up private dentistry and apply for an NHS /nectar point contract. What was I thinking about giving the nhs up 15 years ago. Thank you govt. for showing me what a fool I've been. Memo to self-When I re-open I must get Bazzer in for the opening.
