Leading hygienist joins Philips' team

Philips is enhancing its professional outreach team to reflect the importance it places on supporting the UK dental profession.
The company has brought in Mhari Coxon to handle professional relations for its expanding oral healthcare portfolio.
Additional resources were needed to develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key professional figures and to further focus attention on Philips' role at the forefront of scientific and technological development in the oral health field.
Mhari is eminently qualified to be the senior professional relations manager.
Patricia Rawsthorne will be focusing all her efforts and considerable expertise on professional education for Philips Oral Healthcare.
Perhaps her most impressive achievement this year has been the inception and development of Philips' Transitional Support Programme for newly qualified dental hygiene professionals.
The programme, which was launched at the BDTA Showcase, is fronted by three mentors and is being hailed as a landmark initiative for the profession.
