A new magazine for dental professionals, Aesthetic Dentistry Today, is to be launched in February 2007. The new publication from FMC Ltd, the publishers of Dentistry magazine and Dentistry.co.uk, is effectively renaming the well-known title Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry. Patients are now looking for more than just ‘fixing their teeth’. Many strive for the ‘aesthetically pleasing smile’ and sometimes a lot more. With more and more dentists wishing to extend their services, this magazine will provide them with all they need to know about aesthetic dentistry and the additional services they can provide. The journal aims to carry a mix of clinical articles and practical features on all aspects of aesthetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. Published quarterly, Aesthetic Dentistry Today will incorporate the following: • Regular features on spa dentistry • Features on dentists with special aesthetics • Complimentary therapies • Facial aesthetics • Marketing aesthetic dentistry • Smile makeovers • Materials and equipment • Practice management • Legal matters. The journal is essential reading for those dentists who aim to branch out into those areas and wish to find out more about the treatments they can provide. With articles from the leading facial aesthetic dentists, experts in cosmetic dentistry and complimentary therapists among others, Aesthetic Dentistry Today will be your first-stop on knowing what there is to know in the aesthetic dentistry industry. The first issue will have an article on how to get started in facial aesthetics by chief executive of CODE ADP, Dr Paul Mendlesohn. The magazine will also feature a series of papers from facial aesthetics guru Dr Bob Khanna while Dr Peter Fairbairn will be discussing a detailed case on lip repositioning surgery. In addition to all the essential clinical pieces, the publication will also cover the practical aspects of an aesthetic dental practice. Vicki McManus, President of the renowned Productive Dentist Academy, will be talking about the marketing of your practice and how to deliver outstanding customer service. Each issue will feature articles on how to make sure your practice is managed and marketed in the best possible way. Keep up to date with all the new developments in aesthetic dentistry and ensure that your practice is a step above the rest. Aesthetic Dentistry Today is the indispensable guide to all dentists wishing to provide the ‘complete solution’ to their patients.
