WAC’s well worth it
12th May 2005Dentists and their teams are signing up in large numbers to attend the World Aesthetic Congress, the UK’s premier event for dentists involved in restorative, aesthetic and cosmetic treatment. Confirmed dates for the event in 2005 are Friday and Saturday 17 to 18 June 2005 in central London. Places are going fast and the event is almost full. Held at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in the heart of Westminster, the event also carries a large trade exhibition. Now one of the world’s largest aesthetics gatherings, and a regular on the dental events calendar, the annual World Aesthetic Congress has mushroomed in size and importance over the last few years. This year’s focus is on team dentistry and a technicians’ programme has been introduced and is proving popular. The World Aesthetic Congress (also known as WAC) aims to educate, inspire and motivate the dentist and their team. There will be main lectures with alternative programmes running simultaneously, giving attendees the option to tailor the sessions to suit their own interests. Speaking this year will be a cohort of the very best and most influential (see table left). The new popular team programme for team members is on Friday. A comprehensive and dedicated technicians’ programme is on Saturday. The organisers have assured Dentistry this is not a token gesture, but a concerted effort to provide a programme of real value to practitioners and to technicians, who must operate as a team to produce excellent restorative results. Call 0800 371652 to reserve a place now. Book early to avoid disappointment as places are going fast.
