GSK’s Talking Points in Dentistry is back

The Talking Points in Dentistry lecture series is back.

Following six successful events in May, the popular road-show returns to visit a further five venues this September in Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Edinburgh and Belfast.

Places are booking fast, so book a place now to avoid missing out.

For 30 years Talking Points in Dentistry has delivered excellence in learning to the whole dental team.

This year it promises to once again bring dental professionals an interesting and relevant session with practical learning that dental professionals can use day-to-day in practice.

It’s all brought to dental professionals by renowned experts in the field.

The focus for this year is on acid wear, an increasingly prevalent condition that affects as many as one in three young adults across Europe.

Clinical lecturer, Dr Rupert Austin and health psychologist, Professor Tim Newton from King’s College London, will present new thinking on the condition.

They will focus not only on the clinical signs and methods essential for identifying acid wear early, but will also take a look at the psychology behind patient behaviours in a bid to investigate ways to motivate patients to change their oral health related behaviour.

The evening is free and can count towards dental professionals CPD (continuous professional development) allowance.

The limited places are always oversubscribed for this exciting lecture series. References are available.
