Medical Emergencies – Nigel Robb (2 verifiable CPD hours)
The afternoon session will provide an overview of the signs and symptoms of the 'common' medical incidents. You will consider a systematic approach for a diagnosis based on the clinical signs and symptoms that can be elicited simply and reliably with the drugs and equipment in a dental practice. The indications for administration of the recommended drugs will be discussed as will injection techniques, drug doses & equipment.
