For the winners of the 2014 Dental Hygiene and Therapy Awards.
The second annual Dental Hygiene & Therapy awards took place on 24 January and were even bigger and better than last year.
The Barbican in central London played host to the 2014 awards, which attracted entries from across the UK. The evening of celebrations began with a champagne reception in the venue’s stunning conservatory – a hidden tropical oasis in the heart of the city. A delicious three-course meal followed in the Garden Room.
The atmosphere was spectacular, with attendees cheering their peers and sharing in the success. The amount of respect in the room was truly tangible.
To close the ceremony, an award for outstanding contribution to dental hygiene and therapy went to expanded duties hygienist and trained nutritionist with over thirty years experience, Juliette Reeves.
Presenting the award to Juliette, Ken Finlayson, CEO of FMC told guests: ‘She qualified from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1981 and writes regularly for the international dental press as well as being an editorial advisor to a number of dental journals including Irish Dentistry and DH&T.
