Intensive cooperation with universities worldwide
VOCO researchers work in close cooperation with more than 150 universities and research institutes worldwide, who highly appreciate the expertise of VOCO´s research and development team. VOCO has been leading several research projects co-sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Research. Those projects have led to numerous innovative, useful ideas and products for daily clinical practice.
Milestones in the development of dental materials
VOCO is regarded as a specialist in dental materials. With its product innovations VOCO has acted as a technological forerunner in several areas. One such example is Bifl uorid, a reliable transparent fl uoride varnish for desensitising, deep fluoridation and prophylaxis. With Grandio® VOCO has presented the world´s fi rst nano-hybrid composite which is suitable for all cavity classes and one of the internationally most successful universal restoratives. Grandio® reaches a high fi ller degree and maintains optimal handling properties. It demonstrates that physical material properties, clinical ease of use and handling features are the focus of VOCO´s development efforts.
Products for nearly every indication
Based on intensive research and development VOCO offers 160 high quality materials, exported to more than 120 countries worldwide. VOCO´s complete product range consists of materials for the use in prophylaxis, conservative dentistry and prosthodontics. It includes permanent and temporary restoratives, lining materials, glass ionomer cements, Ormocer®s, compomers and composites, luting materials, core build-up systems, posts, temporary c&b materials, impression materials, cleansers, adhesives, fi ssure sealants, fl uoride preparations, laboratory products and devices.
