Lisa 500 Series sterilisers
With the Lisa 500 Series steriliser
range of vacuum sterilisers,
dentists can be confident
of complying with the latest
Department of Health HTM
01-05 decontamination
guidelines. Lisa 517 and 522
sterilisers are also fully
compliant with BS EN 13060.
The product only runs B
class cycles, so the user does
not have to identify different
categories of load type: use
with solid, hollow, porous,
wrapped or unwrapped loads
for safe, reliable sterilisation.
The Eco-B cycle processes
small loads so the instruments
are fully dry and ready for use
or storage in around 20 minutes.
An integrated data
recorder stores cycle data
electronically for ease of traceability.
To make life easier, dentists
can use Lisa sterilisers
with the LisaOsmo reverse
osmosis water system, which
enables automatic filling and
drainage of the machines.
To increase traceability, try
the LisaSafe traceability
system - this prints labels for
completed sterilisation cycles,
which can adhere to the sterilised
packages, then peel off
and adhere to patients’
records when dentists use the
sterilised items.

Assistina 301plus
The Assistina 301plus is an
air-driven cleaning and lubricating
unit, suitable for handpieces
from all the major
instrument manufacturers.
At the touch of a button,
the Assistina 301plus cleans
and lubricates internal components
using rotational
maintenance combined with
high quality W&H service
oil. After flushing the spray
air and water channels with
cleaning fluid, compressed
air clears all the internal parts
from cleaning solution and
excess oil, leaving a well maintained
instrument ready
for sterilisation.
Instruments maintained
with the Assistina 301plus
will have a longer working
life, resulting in reduced
servicing and repair costs.
Synea LED
Synea LED from W&H is the most popular optic turbine brand in the UK (data from Strategic Dental Marketing, Q2, 2009).
The major benefits of owning a Synea LED turbine are:
- Daylight quality illumination
- No bulbs to replace – saving you money and time
- LED is included in handpiece warranty (two years for turbines with ceramic bearings)
- Five-hole Penta Spray for effective cooling
And there are the options of having a mini head (10 mm diameter) for access in restricted areas, or a power turbine, which can be used with burs of up to 25 mm length.
