New delivery system for a premium product

RelyX Unicem 2 Automix self-adhesive resin cement from 3M ESPE offers users of this high-performance cement the benefits of even simpler application due to its new automix syringe and custom application tips.

This new syringe delivery cement, based on the chemistry of the award winning RelyX Unicem self-adhesive cement, is also suitable for permanent cementation of all-ceramic, composite or metal inlays, onlays, crowns and bridges as well as posts and screws.

The automix delivery system offers even more convenience than the currently available Clicker dispenser, Aplicap and Maxicap capsules. The syringe extrudes the ready-mixed cement through mixing tips which are available in different sizes: regular tips – for standard applications, endo tips ensuring a safe and void-free procedure when working in the root canal and special intra-oral tips for the cementation of inlays and onlays.

Combining ease of use with strength and aesthetics; RelyX Unicem 2 Automix cement has high colour stability, extraordinary bond strength and great moisture tolerance. By eliminating the need for pre-treatment of the tooth, such as etching, priming and bonding, it also saves time and reduces sources of potential error. At the same time patients benefit from low post-operative sensitivity and high long-term stability.

Winner of the 2010 ‘Top Long-term Performer’ Award by THE DENTAL ADVISOR, RelyX Unicem self adhesive universal resin cement is now recommended by product developers, VITA Zahnfabrik , for adhesive cementation of VITABLOCS feldspar ceramic crowns.

The combination of expertise in material science with innovative design means RelyX Unicem 2 Automix self-adhesive resin cement is set to steal the show with advancing efficiencies in cementation procedures.
