HealthyWhite Christmas for two
Market research shows a consistent rise in patient demand for tooth whitening year on year and this ramps up in the festive season. It is also the time of the year when more sales of electronic goods are made than any other.
So, in the run-up to Christmas, dental professionals are being offered an exclusive Sonicare HealthyWhite Dual Handle promotional pack which will only be available in dental practices.

It will be offered through them at the BDTA and between October and December 2010 in the run-up to the Christmas period.
Philips is also running a series of promotions for the rest of its Sonicare product range in the fourth quarter of the year. These are also being run in collaboration with CTS and are designed to help dental professionals with their festive retailing.
Practices are being offered the chance to buy a FlexCare and get a Sonicare For Kids free or buy three or more FlexCare or FlexCare+ and get 25% discount. In addition the company is offering three for the price of two on its brush head range.
Heading for change
A rolling change of all Sonicare brush head packaging will start from September 2010. This has been initiated to ensure better alignment with Sonicare packaging and to make it easier for users to distinguish which brush head they require from the outset.
On the brush head neck itself it now reads eSeries for Elite and ProResults for FlexCare, FlexCare+ & HealthyWhite. Sonicare For Kids heads came into the market in the newly developed packaging so this will remain unchanged. All the brush heads (apart from the Sonicare For Kids) come with reminder bristles to encourage consistent and timely replacement after three months to ensure the on-going effectiveness of the brushes and to allow dental practices to develop additional retailing opportunities.
