Prevention is better than cure
After a sell-out Profitable Perio meetings series in Belfast and Glasgow earlier this year, Philips is staging a series of regional meetings on the theme of ‘Prevention is better than cure – periodontitis vs peri-implantitis’.
In November, the roadshow will visit Manchester (7th), Birmingham (8th), Cambridge (9th), Oxford (10th) and Bristol (11th), where the duo of Professor Edward Lynch, Head of Warwick University and periodontist Ian Peace will advocate a preventive and innovative approach to dentistry.
They are taking to the road to show dental professionals how this approach can be both beneficial to the patient and the practice.
The day long meetings will include the following subjects:
• Top tips for quality clinical dentistry
• Faster, easier and better dentistry
• Minimally invasive dentistry for the 21st Century
• How to include prevention as part of every consultation
• Patient motivation
• Profitable prevention
• Interdental cleaning using technology in practice
