Dental nurse’s penchant for poisson raises cash

A dental nurse with a penchant for poisson is taking part in a charity fishing trip to raise cash for charity.

Sabrina Wood, aged 33, practice manager and dental nurse from The Dental Barn, in Upper Dicker, is setting off to France at the end of March to raise money for the ‘Dreams Come True’ children’s charity.

Sabrina is off to France for a week with the ‘fishing dream team who are all raising money for the dreams come true charity which brings joy to terminally and seriously ill children.

The children’s dreams range from meeting their celebrity hero to just being able to go to the local park with their siblings.

Sabrina said: ‘I am the only woman this year to be chosen and hope that with this great team we can raise a huge amount of money for this amazing charity.’

Alison Thompson, owner of The Dental Barn, in Upper Dicker in Hailsham, east Sussex, where Miss Wood works, said she and other colleagues were supporting the dental nurse in her big fishing challenge.

Alison said: ‘We are all very proud of Sabrina and her charity work and to show our support we are donating £1 to the charity for every patient seen throughout the month of March.’

Sabrina has already raised £600-plus to date!
