Dentists to spend more in 2013, poll reveals

At this year’s BDTA Showcase, Frank Taylor & Associates asked a big question: 'Do you think that you will have more disposable income to spend in 2013 than you did in 2012?'

The full results are now in and it seems that dental professionals are much more upbeat about the year to come.

More than 1,500 dental professionals took part in the survey and almost two thirds said that they do feel they will have more to spend next year.

Director of Frank Taylor & Associates Andy Acton said: 'This does reflect what we are seeing in the marketplace.

'There are a lot of positive people out there – we have over 3,000 associates on our books looking to buy a practice – and the banks are happy to lend the money to do so in most cases. We see dentistry in the UK being on an upward curve.'
