Compressor written scheme of examination

Dentalair, supplier of compliant surgery compressed air packages, has announced that all new compressor packages from 1 September 2012 will include, as standard, a written scheme of examination. This is to adhere to the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000, which is a legal requirement and is strongly advised to adhere to in the BDA Good Practice Scheme.

Steven Kettle, practice advisor at Dentalair, commented that this is another concern that dental practitioners can forget about and leave to the experts; Dentalair will assume responsibility for this statutory requirement, leaving dentists to get on with the job they know best.

This is yet another first step that Dentalair has announced, including Sterile Air Bacteria-Free, and a full five-year parts and labour warranty on all new packages.  Also available is the Total Air Care Package, which includes all new equipment service and support from £17.50 per week.
