Practice Plan’s Nick Dilworth wins award

Nick Dilworth, managing director of Practice Plan, recently attended a prestigious cap and gown ceremony in New York to accept his Fellowship in the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics (IADFE).

Nick was nominated for the fellowship by clinical professor in periodontics, Dr David Hoexter, and head of dentistry at the University of Warwick, Professor Edward Lynch; two of the most leading influencers in the international dentistry-speaking circuit.

Professor Lynch said: 'We nominated Nick for a fellowship as we feel the Practice Plan Group (consisting of Practice Plan, The Business of Dentistry and Medenta Finance) should be recognised as innovators within the dental industry. Nick leads a strong team who are constantly striving to develop and release new products and services that actively support the growth and sustainability of dental practices.’

Nick said: 'With the society’s membership featuring so many influential authorities from within the international dental market, this Fellowship is a great accolade not only for myself, but for the rest of the team at Practice Plan, too.

'The nature of the nomination itself is not something that happens every day. It demonstrates recognition of our evolved support for dental practices, which has been extremely well received by our member practices and has contributed to the growth of our business. We have a great platform to support dental practices which will develop further over the next 12 months.’

In the last 12 months, Nick has been a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year and was also a judge on the panel for HSBC Business Thinking Awards.
